Meet Kieran Tormey – Helping You Build Confidence Behind the Wheel

Hi, I’m Kieran, a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) with 4front Driving School. I’m passionate about cars, driving and the freedom that comes with being able to travel independently. One of the things I look forward to most is helping learners develop the confidence, knowledge and skills they need to enjoy that same freedom for themselves.

As a family man, I understand how important safe, responsible driving is, not just for us as individuals but for the people who share the road with us. For me, learning to drive is about much more than preparing for a driving test. It’s about developing good habits, making sensible decisions and becoming a safe, confident driver for life.

A patient and supportive approach

I understand that everyone learns differently. Some people are excited to get started, while others might feel nervous, lack confidence or need a little more time to become comfortable behind the wheel. There is no single approach that works for everyone, which is why I believe patience, encouragement and understanding are so important.

My aim is to help you feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and recognising your progress. You won't be expected to master everything straight away. Instead, we'll work towards developing your skills step by step, building on what you can already do and focusing on the areas where you need more practice.

I want you to feel that your lessons are a positive learning experience, where you can develop at a pace that works for you and gradually become more independent in your driving.

Learning for life, not just the test

Passing your driving test is an exciting milestone, but it is only the beginning of your driving journey. My goal is to help you understand what you are doing behind the wheel and why it matters, so you can develop the judgement and awareness needed to deal with everyday driving situations.

We'll work towards helping you become more confident in your decisions, recognise potential hazards and develop the skills to manage different road conditions safely. As your experience grows, I want you to feel increasingly comfortable taking responsibility for your own driving.
