Meet Dilshad – Call Me D!

Hello, I'm Dilshad Ibrahimi, although if you find my name a little difficult to pronounce, don't worry! You can simply call me D.

I'm a passionate and dedicated Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) with 4front Driving School in Loughborough. I have a genuine interest in teaching and helping others develop new skills, and I'm excited to bring my experience, enthusiasm and positive attitude into the world of automatic driving instruction.

I teach in a Toyota Yaris, providing learners with the opportunity to develop their automatic driving skills in a comfortable and supportive environment.

My aim is to help learners feel comfortable behind the wheel, develop their confidence and enjoy the experience of learning to drive.

A Background in Teaching and Customer Experience

Before becoming a driving instructor, I gained over six years of experience in teaching, alongside running my own business for more than six years.

These experiences have helped me develop valuable skills in communication, patience, understanding and working with people from all walks of life.

Running a business has taught me the importance of listening to people, understanding their needs and providing a positive experience. I appreciate that everyone is different, and I believe building good relationships and trust is an important part of helping someone learn.

Teaching has also given me an appreciation of how people develop new skills and the importance of providing encouragement and support along the way.

I want to bring these qualities into every automatic driving lesson.

A Patient, Positive and Supportive Approach

Learning to drive can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming at times.

Some learners arrive feeling confident and ready to get started, while others may feel nervous, anxious or unsure of themselves.

I believe that creating a positive and supportive learning environment is essential.

My approach is based on patience, encouragement and helping learners recognise their own progress.

I don't want anyone to feel that they have to rush or compare themselves with other learners. Everyone develops at their own pace, and I want to help you build confidence in a way that works for you.

My aim is to help you feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and gradually taking greater responsibility for your driving.

Learning Automatic – At Your Own Pace

Learning in an automatic car can make the driving experience feel more straightforward for many learners, allowing them to concentrate on developing their road awareness, decision-making and confidence.

In my Toyota Yaris, we'll work together to develop your automatic driving skills, build confidence and help you understand the decisions you make on the road.

Everyone learns differently. Some people like clear explanations, while others prefer to practise things several times before feeling comfortable.

I want to understand what works best for you and adapt my teaching to your individual needs.

Driving isn't simply about controlling a car. It's about developing awareness, understanding situations, anticipating hazards and making safe decisions.

I want you to feel confident in your abilities and understand the reasons behind what you're doing.

More Than Passing Your Driving Test

Of course, passing your driving test is an important goal, and I'll be there to support you throughout that journey.

However, I believe learning to drive should prepare you for much more than test day.

The real reward is gaining the freedom and independence that driving can bring.

My aim is to help you develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to become a safe and responsible driver for life.

Passing your test is the beginning of your driving journey, not the end of your learning.
