Update - returning to lessons and COVID
So we still plan to return to lessons as of the 12th April and tests to resume on the 22nd if we get the go ahead on the 5th.
Existing students- please refresh yourself with our COVID guidance.
New students - please read and submit the COVID Terms and Conditions. Masks are a must and worn properly.
May I suggest if you have any doubts - cold symptoms etc - then take a lateral flow test before you come out to lessons or a full COVID test if you have any symptoms.
48hour notice is still a requirement to cancel or amend a lesson as in the terms and conditions.
The recent guidance from DVSA strongly reminds us to make sure you only take a test when you are test ready. (So use the resources on the 'Student Room', my 'Blog' and my guide on 'How to pass my driving test') This is because there is a backlog of 420,000 tests! I understand you can change test dates at the moment but can't book from scratch. So if you have a test coming up you will need to cram in as many lessons as possible to sharpen up and be test ready.
However when it comes to cancellations if your test is rescheduled for much later in the year then you have a reason to use the Cancellation Service.
You may want to get extra practise in your own car between lessons - well you can save £100 with www.myfirstuk.com using the referral code '4front Driving School'
More practise means more chance of passing hopefully first time.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Take care everyone
